About Ana
Ana Chavier Caamaño is a media producer, interviewer, oral historian, and storyteller whose work explores heritage, cultural memory, identity, and chosen communities.
She holds a Master’s degree in Creative Writing and is a published author, bringing a narrative and oral-history approach to her interviews and storytelling projects.
Through Tradition Café and related collaborations, Ana creates space for thoughtful conversations that preserve lived experiences and illuminate the ways culture, family history, and tradition continue to shape our lives.

Art of the African Diaspora (AOTAD) – Artist Interview Series
Ana collaborated with Studio23 Gallery and Resistance Press to produce and promote an artist interview series for a satellite exhibition of the long-running Art of the African Diaspora (AOTAD) exhibition.
The project included:
- 8 filmed artist interviews
- Social media storytelling and promotional media
- Coverage of a satellite exhibition connected to the 29th year of AOTAD
The interviews highlight the voices, creative practices, and cultural perspectives of participating artists.
The Story Table
The Story Table is an oral history and legacy storytelling project dedicated to preserving personal histories, family memory, and cultural traditions.
Through guided, long-form conversations, Ana works with individuals and families to document lived experiences in their own words — creating private recordings that honor heritage, identity, and chosen community.
